Who we are
Mohs Pros, Inc. was founded in 2000 by CEO Billy Pieratt. We are a technician-first company: our techs are the heart of the work, and every one of them is a Mohs Pros employee.
Every Mohs Pros tech completes at least six months of dedicated Mohs training before working independently, followed by ongoing competency assessments and quality assurance. Our techs are trained in H&E and toluidine blue (T-Blue) stains, and in immunohistochemistry (IHC) antibody stains, including stains used for melanoma, and work on Leica, Avantik, Dakewe and Epredia cryostats. Mohs Pros has served 100+ clients, primarily in California, and is an active member of the American Society for Mohs Histotechnology (ASMH) and the National Society for Histotechnology (NSH).
